CaseEase - Legal Intelligence Simplified

Terms & Conditions

By using CaseEase - Legal Intelligence Simplified, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully together with the CaseEase Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

Effective 17 October 2026 · Updated 17 October 2026

1. Operator and application

  • In these Terms, “CaseEase”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to CaseEase. “You” and “your” refer to the person accessing the platform and, where applicable, an organisation on whose behalf that person is authorised to act.
  • These Terms govern use of the website and related CaseEase services, including Free accounts, Pro subscriptions, AI features, document analysis, workspaces, downloads and paid add-ons.
  • Contact for support, billing, corrections, privacy requests and grievances: info@tranzission.com

3. Eligibility and registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to contract to create an account or purchase services.
  • If acting for an organisation, you must have authority to bind it to the applicable terms.
  • Provide accurate registration and billing information and keep your contact details current. We may require reasonable account verification to prevent fraud, protect data or resolve ownership disputes.
  • You must not impersonate another person or create accounts to evade restrictions.

4. Nature of CaseEase

  • CaseEase is a legal information and research platform focused on India’s Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and related jurisprudence.
  • Depending on your plan, the platform may provide:
  • Keyword search and filters.
  • AI-assisted research.
  • Judgment reading and source access.
  • Summaries and structured case analysis.
  • Ask CaseEase AI and saved conversations.
  • Document uploads, analysis and document chat.
  • Highlights, bookmarks and case notes.
  • Saved searches and research history.
  • Workspace organisation.
  • Downloads, exports and legal updates.
  • This description does not mean that every feature is included in every plan or available without limits.
  • CaseEase provides research assistance. It does not provide a legal opinion, undertake your professional engagement or replace consultation with a qualified legal professional.

5. Plan descriptions and entitlement records

  • The applicable plan description and purchase confirmation identify included features, allowances, duration, charges and restrictions.
  • Allowance numbers may appear on the pricing page, feature comparison, purchase screen and account usage page rather than being reproduced in these Terms.
  • For paid subscriptions, the entitlement agreed at purchase governs the current committed term. A subsequent change to a public pricing page does not retrospectively reduce that entitlement.
  • If displayed account information conflicts with your purchase confirmation, contact us for correction.

6. CaseEase Free

6.1 Scope

  • CaseEase Free provides specified features without a subscription fee, subject to allowances and conditions.
  • “Free” does not mean:
    • Every feature is included.
    • Usage, downloads or storage are unlimited.
    • Current allowances will remain unchanged permanently.
    • Every new feature will be included.
    • A paid subscription will begin automatically.
  • Free is not a temporary trial unless expressly described as such.

6.2 Changes to Free access

  • Subject to applicable law, CaseEase may at its discretion and at any time:
    • Increase, reduce or restructure Free allowances.
    • Change measurement or reset periods.
    • Introduce file, page, storage, processing or rate limits.
    • Add, modify, suspend or withdraw Free features.
    • Move a feature to a paid plan or add-on.
    • Change eligibility or other conditions for Free access.
  • These changes may apply to new and existing registered Free users. Registration does not create a permanent entitlement to the existing Free offering.
  • Changes take effect from the date stated in the relevant notice or updated plan description.
  • We will ordinarily provide reasonable advance notice of material reductions. Immediate changes may be necessary for legal compliance, security, misuse prevention or urgent operational reasons.
  • Changes will not create retrospective charges for usage that was free when undertaken. No paid purchase will be activated without authorisation.

6.3 Reaching an allowance

  • When an allowance is reached, the affected function may be restricted until it resets, capacity is freed where applicable, or you choose an available paid option.
  • Other Free functions may remain available. Reaching a limit does not oblige you to purchase Pro.

7. Counting and reset rules

  • Allowances may apply separately to searches, AI questions, follow-ups, uploads, analyses, document questions, saved items, exports, downloads and storage.
  • The applicable plan or usage interface will state the relevant rules.
  • Unless expressly stated otherwise:
    • Each submitted AI question and follow-up counts separately.
    • AI research and document chat may have separate allowances.
  • An active-item limit differs from a periodic usage allowance.
  • Deleting a saved item may free an active-item slot, but does not restore consumed questions, searches, uploads or exports.
  • Unused periodic allowances do not roll over.
  • Allowances cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
  • The displayed reset date and time zone govern.
  • We may correct metering errors without imposing retrospective charges for our own counting mistakes.
  • Report suspected incorrect deductions to info@tranzission.com, identifying the approximate time and affected function.

8. CaseEase Pro and protection of the purchased term

  • Pro provides the features and capacity agreed in the applicable subscription.
  • Material adverse changes to included features or allowances, and subscription price increases, will ordinarily apply from the next renewal, rather than during the current committed term.
  • For an annual or multi-year purchase, the current term means the full purchased period.
  • We may change layouts, navigation, technical components, AI models and underlying infrastructure during a term, provided these changes do not materially reduce the purchased service.
  • Urgent legal, security or third-party availability issues may require earlier changes. If these materially prevent delivery of a purchased benefit, we will explain the issue and provide an appropriate remedy, such as a comparable alternative, extension or proportionate refund for the affected service.
  • This protection does not prevent proportionate action against misuse or material breach.

9. Newly introduced features and add-ons

  • A subscription does not automatically include every future feature, model, integration, service or product.
  • New offerings may be:
    • Included in an existing plan.
    • Offered under another plan.
    • Separately chargeable.
  • Subject to additional usage charges.
  • Available temporarily for evaluation.
  • Prices and material conditions will be disclosed before purchase.
  • A feature already included in a current paid entitlement will not be made separately chargeable during that term merely by renaming or repackaging it.
  • Specific written commitments concerning future features remain applicable.

10. Existing subscribers and beta purchasers

  • Eligible beta purchasers will receive the Pro access previously communicated to them.
  • For accounts covered by the launch arrangement:
    • The full purchased subscription term begins on 17 October 2026, with one additional month.
    • Eligibility, purchased duration and additional commitments will be determined from purchase records and written communications.
    • Introducing CaseEase Free does not cancel these commitments or require eligible purchasers to purchase Pro again for their agreed access.
  • If an account does not reflect the agreed entitlement, contact info@tranzission.com.
  • An unresolved promised feature will be addressed against the actual purchase commitment. A general upgrade announcement does not replace or extinguish that commitment.

11. Prices, payments and activation

  • Prices, subscription periods, applicable taxes and additional charges will be disclosed before payment.
  • Payment providers may apply their own processing terms. CaseEase remains responsible for its own service and billing obligations.
  • Paid access begins on the activation date stated in the purchase confirmation or agreed migration arrangement.
  • If money is debited but access is not activated, contact us with the payment reference.
  • Additional credits or capacity, where offered, follow the validity and usage conditions disclosed before purchase. No automatic carry-forward or renewal applies unless expressly stated.

12. Renewal and 15-day notice

  • Automatic renewal applies only where recurring billing has been clearly disclosed and authorised.
  • Otherwise, renewal requires a fresh purchase or express agreement.
  • CaseEase will provide at least 15 days’ advance notice of material changes affecting a paid renewal, including increased prices or reduced included capacity, unless a longer period is required by law.
  • You may choose not to renew.
  • If the required notice cannot be provided in time, the adverse change will be deferred or your express agreement obtained before renewal on the changed terms.
  • Silence does not authorise a new purchase, new add-on or previously unauthorised recurring payment.

13. Cancellation, refunds and billing concerns

  • You may cancel future automatic renewal using the available account mechanism or by contacting info@tranzission.com.
  • Unless applicable law or a specific policy provides otherwise, cancelling renewal leaves access available until the current paid term ends.
  • Non-use or a change of mind does not ordinarily create a refund entitlement. This does not exclude remedies for:
    • Duplicate or unauthorised charges.
    • Payment without delivery of access.
    • Material failure to supply the purchased service.
    • Misrepresentation.
    • Rights available under applicable law.
    • Depending on the circumstances, a remedy may include correction, restored access, extension, replacement or refund.
  • A temporary slowdown does not, by itself, automatically entitle a user to a refund. Persistent or material service failures remain subject to the purchased commitment and applicable legal rights.
  • Contacting support does not waive your right to approach a payment provider, regulator or competent forum.

14. Account security and team access

  • Unless expressly permitted otherwise, an individual subscription is for one named user.
  • Do not share credentials, sell access or pool individual subscriptions. Team use requires an appropriate arrangement and authorised seats.
  • Any device or concurrent-session restrictions will be disclosed in the applicable plan or account interface.
  • Keep credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
  • You are responsible for activity you authorise. This does not make you automatically liable for unauthorised activity caused by a security failure attributable to CaseEase.

15. Acceptable use

  • Use CaseEase only for lawful research, educational and professional purposes.
  • You must not:
    • Bypass access controls, payments or allowances.
    • Create accounts to evade limits.
    • Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content without authorisation.
    • Use unauthorised automation.
    • Resell access or redistribute substantial proprietary content.
    • Introduce malicious files or disrupt the service.
    • Access another user’s data without authority.
    • Upload material you are not entitled to process.
    • Misrepresent AI outputs as court-issued statements.
    • Use proprietary content to build a competing database or train models without permission, except where law permits the activity.
  • These restrictions do not prevent lawful citation, quotation or other permitted use.

16. Fair use and processing controls

  • References to extended, generous or unrestricted professional use do not authorise account sharing, automated harvesting or abusive consumption.
  • We may apply proportionate rate limits, queues, concurrency controls and file restrictions to protect availability and security.
  • Fair-use controls will not be used to conceal undisclosed ordinary-use quotas or materially reduce current paid allowances.
  • Contact support if legitimate professional use is incorrectly restricted.

17. Slowdowns, interruptions and technical limitations

  • Performance may vary because of:
    • High concurrent demand.
    • Large or complex documents.
    • Scanned or poor-quality files.
    • AI provider capacity or response times.
    • Network or device limitations.
    • Maintenance, updates or security measures.
    • Infrastructure or third-party failures.
    • Searches, AI responses, uploads, downloads and workspace actions may take longer than expected, fail or require a retry.
  • CaseEase does not promise a fixed response time or uninterrupted service unless expressly agreed in writing.
  • A processing indicator does not confirm that an operation has completed. Check the result before relying on it or resubmitting.
  • Where technical failure causes an incorrect usage deduction, you may request review.
  • We will use reasonable efforts to address material failures. This clause does not excuse failure to provide the purchased service or remove mandatory remedies.
  • Do not rely solely on CaseEase availability for an imminent filing, limitation period or other critical deadline.

18. User documents, questions and notes

  • You retain your rights in material you submit.
  • You confirm that you have authority and a lawful basis to upload and process it.
  • You grant CaseEase a limited licence to host, transmit, process, store and display that material as necessary to provide the requested service, maintain security and comply with law.
  • This licence does not authorise publication of private documents or unrelated commercial exploitation.
  • Assess confidentiality, privilege, personal information and court restrictions before submission. Redact information not needed for the task.
  • Submitting material does not create a lawyer-client relationship with CaseEase or independently establish legal privilege.

19. Privacy and processing of information

  • Personal information will be handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
  • Processing may be necessary for account administration, authentication, payments, requested research functions, document analysis, support, security and legal compliance.
  • Where an AI or document feature uses an external provider, relevant questions, document text or other necessary inputs may be transmitted to that provider. The applicable privacy notice must describe the processing arrangements.
  • These Terms do not provide blanket authorisation to:
    • Train general-purpose AI models on private uploads.
    • Publish private workspace content.
    • Sell private documents or questions.
    • Process information for unrelated purposes.
    • Treat acceptance as consent to every future processing activity.
    • Any optional training or unrelated use requiring consent must be separately explained and appropriately authorised.
  • Retention, deletion, service providers and international processing must be described accurately in the Privacy Policy. These Terms do not promise exclusive Indian storage, zero retention or immediate deletion from every backup.
  • You may send privacy requests to info@tranzission.com. Reasonable identity verification may be required.

20. Workspace storage, expiry and deletion

  • Workspace features are subject to plan limits and disclosed retention arrangements. They are not a replacement for independent backups or a professional document management system.
  • After expiry, downgrade or allowance changes, some functions may become read-only or new saving may be restricted.
  • We will not ordinarily delete saved material solely because a new allowance is lower without notice and a reasonable opportunity to export, remove or reorganise it, where technically and legally available.
  • Account closure and deletion are subject to applicable retention obligations and backup limitations.
  • Subscription expiry does not create an indefinite storage entitlement.

21. Intellectual property and permitted professional use

  • CaseEase and its licensors retain applicable rights in the software, branding, interface, original editorial material and proprietary analysis.
  • Underlying judgments, legislation and third-party materials retain their applicable legal status and rights. CaseEase does not claim exclusive ownership of public judgments.
  • You may use permitted extracts and outputs in lawful professional and educational work, subject to verification, applicable rights and appropriate attribution.
  • You must not reproduce or sell substantial proprietary content as a competing service without permission.
  • AI outputs may not be unique. Their ownership and protectability depend on applicable law; CaseEase does not promise exclusivity.

22. Downloads and watermarks

  • Downloads and exports depend on your plan.
  • “Without watermark” refers to removal of a CaseEase-added watermark where that facility is offered. It does not authorise removal of court seals, signatures, source identifiers or legally required markings.
  • A downloaded judgment is not necessarily a certified copy.
  • Do not alter materials in a way that misrepresents a court’s decision or the source.

25. Suspension, termination and discontinuation

  • We may proportionately restrict access for material breach, fraud, unlawful activity, security threats, non-payment or binding legal requirements.
  • Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue. Immediate action may be necessary to protect users, systems or legal compliance.
  • Paid access will not be terminated arbitrarily to avoid a subscription commitment.
  • If we permanently discontinue a paid service before its committed term ends, affected users will receive an appropriate remedy, ordinarily including a proportionate refund for the unused affected service.
  • Account deletion and cancellation of renewal are separate actions. Irreversible consequences should be explained before deletion.

26. Warranties and liability

  • CaseEase will exercise reasonable care and skill in supplying its services.
  • Subject to express commitments and non-excludable obligations, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete coverage, error-free AI or suitability for a particular professional decision.
  • To the extent permitted by law, CaseEase will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or opportunities.
  • For paid services, aggregate liability arising from a claim or related claims will not exceed the subscription and add-on fees paid or payable for the affected services during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  • This cap does not limit a refund otherwise due for an unused prepaid term.
  • Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or any liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
  • Disclaimers concerning research do not excuse non-excludable obligations concerning service delivery, security or lawful processing.

27. Responsibility for unlawful misuse

  • To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable, substantiated third-party losses directly caused by your unlawful uploads, infringement or deliberate misuse.
  • This does not cover losses attributable to CaseEase’s own wrongdoing.
  • You will receive reasonable notice and an opportunity to participate in the defence of a claim affecting you.

28. Communications and grievances

  • Essential account, security, billing and service notices may be sent through registered email or the platform.
  • Marketing communications will follow applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
  • For assistance or complaints, contact:
    • Lexlore Learning Private Limited

New Delhi, India

Email: info@tranzission.com

  • Identify the account and issue clearly. For corrections, include the relevant CaseEase link or citation.
  • Complaints will be handled within applicable statutory periods. Contacting us does not prevent access to statutory remedies.

29. Changes to these Terms

  • We may update these Terms to reflect service changes, operational requirements or changes in law.
  • Material changes will ordinarily be communicated at least 15 days before taking effect, except where urgent legal, security or misuse-related action requires earlier implementation.
  • Free changes are governed by Clause 6. Adverse changes to existing paid entitlements apply in accordance with Clauses 8 and 12.
  • Updates do not retrospectively extinguish purchase commitments or accrued claims.
  • Fresh acceptance will be obtained where required. Continued use does not authorise a new charge or previously unauthorised recurring payment.

30. Governing law and jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules and statutory rights, competent courts in New Delhi, India, will have jurisdiction.
  • Nothing prevents an eligible user from approaching a consumer commission, regulator or other forum having jurisdiction under applicable law.
  • No mandatory arbitration requirement is imposed by these Terms.

31. General provisions

  • An unenforceable provision will be severed or limited to the extent necessary, without invalidating the remainder.
  • Failure to enforce a provision once does not waive future enforcement.
  • Any transfer of contractual obligations must comply with law and must not improperly prejudice existing paid entitlements.
  • Events beyond reasonable control may delay performance, but do not automatically remove refund rights for services that cannot be supplied.
  • Express purchase commitments remain enforceable notwithstanding general promotional wording.

    • The identity and authenticity of the source.
    • The relevant wording and surrounding context.
    • Whether the cited passage supports the proposition.
    • Whether an observation is a submission, interim view or final finding.
    • The court, jurisdiction and precedential value.

Disclaimer - 5. Summaries and structured case analysis

  • Summaries, headnotes, facts, issues, ratios, timelines and outcome labels are aids to navigation and understanding.
  • They may simplify or omit details. Read the full judgment before relying on a material proposition.
  • CaseEase-generated summaries and analyses are not official statements issued or approved by a court unless expressly identified as such.

Disclaimer - 6. Search limitations

  • Keyword search and AI search use different methods and may return different results.
  • Results can be affected by query wording, selected filters, available sources, document quality and technical limitations.
  • Ranking does not establish authority or relevance. The absence of a result does not establish that no relevant authority exists.
  • Research may require several queries and examination of multiple sources.

Disclaimer - 8. Original judgments and certified copies

  • A judgment displayed as an original or source document is the source copy available through the platform. It is not necessarily a certified copy.
  • Scanning, OCR, extraction, translation, formatting and pagination differences may affect text or references.

Disclaimer - 9. Slowdowns and availability

  • No fixed processing time or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed unless expressly agreed.
  • An operation may fail, time out or produce an incomplete result. Check completion before relying on it.
  • Do not make an imminent filing, limitation period, hearing or other critical obligation dependent solely on CaseEase availability.
  • These limitations do not remove CaseEase’s express commitments or non-excludable legal responsibilities.

Disclaimer - 10. Uploaded documents

  • Analysis depends on the uploaded document’s quality and completeness.
  • Missing pages, unclear scans, handwriting, tables, annexures, language differences and protected files can affect results.
  • The system may overlook a relevant clause, date, amount, qualification or relationship.
  • Check the analysis against the complete document. Do not assume an issue is absent merely because the output does not mention it.

Disclaimer - 11. Confidentiality and privilege

  • Upload only material you are authorised to process.
  • Consider client confidentiality, privilege, personal information, court restrictions and other obligations before entering a question or submitting a file.
  • Redact unnecessary sensitive information.

  • A particular saving of time or money.
  • Unless separately and expressly offered, CaseEase does not monitor your hearings, limitation periods, filing dates or compliance deadlines.

Disclaimer - 13. Saved research and personal notes

  • Saving a chat, answer, note or judgment does not verify its accuracy or keep it current.
  • Review older research before reuse.
  • User-created notes and highlights reflect the user’s own work and are not approved by CaseEase merely because they are stored on the platform.
  • Keep independent copies of important research and documents.

Disclaimer - 14. Free and Pro distinctions

  • CaseEase Free does not mean all features are free or unlimited.
  • Access, allowances, storage, downloads and exports depend on the applicable plan.
  • Free features and allowances may change under the Terms & Conditions, including for existing registered Free users.
  • Changes affecting purchased Pro entitlements are governed by the current-term and renewal protections in those Terms.
  • New features may be separately chargeable.

Disclaimer - 15. Downloads and watermark-free copies

  • Watermark-free downloading, where included, concerns the CaseEase-added watermark.
  • It does not change the document’s legal status, make it a certified copy or permit removal of court markings and source identifiers.
  • A download or export may reproduce errors already present in the source or generated analysis. Verify it before use.
